Rocket Chinese Review

Rocket Chinese reviewI have always been amazed by my friend who can speak Chinese fluently and with that air of confidence. Of course, I knew it is the product of more than two years of taking formal Chinese classes in the university. After watching him countless of times talking in that language, I thought, maybe I should try it out as well. Besides, Chinese is becoming a widely used language around the world – especially in business. Plus, since I’m planning to visit China, perhaps it would be a very helpful tool to get around.

My problem is, I don’t have time to spare for extra classes; nor did I have the money for that. And, when I study, I usually prefer to study on my own time and pace. Being in a class can sometimes be frustrating for me since some people are fast learners, others are not; while there I am struggling to make sense of everything. So, I decided to search the internet for that particular product that can help me learn Chinese, but won’t bore me to death. True enough, I found one educational kit that is definitely worth trying: Rocket Chinese.

It is, without a doubt, a learning kit that is fashioned for beginners. It doesn’t overwhelm students with big words and grammar lessons that can often turn your brain into soup. Rather, it uses entertaining and interactive lessons that will keep the student focused and learning at the same time.

The kit includes audio files for practicing conversational Chinese, which students can play anywhere, anytime – while cooking, while driving, and the like. This basically allows students to practice on their own time without being forced to adjust their learning pace. There are also interactive lessons on verbs and grammar that isn’t too boring, but still very effective. And, my most favorite of all features is that the kit has a vocabulary game called MegaVocab that is fun and super addictive. Instead of playing Plants vs. Zombies all night, why not dedicate your time playing MegaVocab? It’s a fast and enjoyable way to expand your Chinese vocabulary without the hassle of having to go through words over and over just so you can memorize them.

I can say that Rocket Chinese isn’t just any other Chinese course that simply guides students through the Chinese language. It is a fun and easy way to start learning Chinese vocabulary, grammar, and eventually situational conversations. Just thirty minutes a day and you’ll be on your way to speaking Chinese like a pro in a few weeks. That isn’t bad considering that I don’t want to spend years just on the basics of the language.
